BLIMEY! WHERE DID 2009 GO??!!

"We'll be attempting to keep it all a bit more up to date in 2009". That was what I said in January...... and since then? Not a thing!! Well nothing much has happened to the club this year has it??

Not much, apart from Megan Comber and Oly Boag competing at the National Championships in July - Megan for the 5th year in a row - a whole host of trophies and medals at Regional and County level...... oh and something minor by way of a change of venue.......

A CHANGE OF WHAT??!!!

Yes it's finally happened. Sussex Srpingers has what is as close to it's own facility as we are likely to get without someone winning the loterry and donating several million pounds to the club! Our Head Coach, Stella Jackson, along with husband (and one of our judges) Mike and another of our coaches, Gail Andrews, has set up a company called Fun Abounds and together they have secured the lease - and change of use - on a unit in Bell Lane, on the Bellbrook Trading Estate in Uckfield. FunAbounds Trampoline Centre opened for business on 24th October 2009 with a wonderfully well-attended Open Day and Sussex Springers are now resident there and settling in nicely. This means we are able to train with a great deal more freedom than we have been able to until now. In the short term it will make very little difference on the training front, but we will be able to change our training hours to suit our needs and coach availability.

FunAbounds Trampoline Centre can be found on Bell Lane, Uckfield (map) so anyone who wants to can go and be nosey, book a keep-fit session or just have a look round. Fun Abounds has a website, which can be found on our links page or via here

The club is exceedingly grateful to Freedom Leisure, who have been wonderful landlords for the past 2 years, but if the club is to progress in the way we want it to we have to take the opportunity to move.
